Things That Start With An 'S' And Other Letters

If Christina Ricci (who still looks hot with the anime eyes) is too old for Emile, what does that say about us? The RPaz movie was TERRIBLE. I hope you wind up liking the conclusion of Stardust... I love that book, it makes me want to read it again.
I don't know what that says about us. It says I'm too old for you clearly.

After I finish the book we can finally watch the movie. Which I hope will be better than The Haunted Airman and Speed Racer.
I think it is better than both combined.
i hope that when you get to Stardust the movie that you like it. i think i liked it more than i should have - and i've never even read the book.

boo to Speed Racer not being that good.

i bet the Twiligh trailer looked awesome in the theater but i think it would have made me sad because it's so goddamn short.

yay for stardust!!! does your version have the illustrations in it too? i watched the movie first and loved it and i liked the book even more then the movie (they left a lot of stuff out of the movie). i hope you enjoy it!

Yay Twilight teaser! I'm sorry you didn't enjoy the movie more. I love Christina Ricci! She's one of my girl crushes.

Oh man, The Haunted Airman is soooo bad. I've only watched the first 30 min about. I think I'm going to finish it by watching a clip now and then when I need a Rob fix. I'm sad enough. :)

Borders Hollywood said they're doing a midnight release party but they didn't know what, beyond staying open till midnight, they were doing for it because it was "so far away". So I dunno.

I couldn't watch it until I read it. I'm just fussy like that.

The trailer looked so good on the big screen. It looked so much better. The sound was surround sound and it felt more cinematic.
My version doesn't have illustrations in it. I bet that is neat. I couldn't watch the movie until I read the book. I'm just built like that. But soon I'll see it.
The Haunted Airman was not acted unwell though. I am a big Julian Sands fan from growing up with seeing him in Gothic. That man overacts whenever it suits acting modestly. But Rob didn't suck in it. I think it was just convoluted.

Yay for midnight release parties in Hollywood. So much closer than Torrance.
maybe i'll get to see the trailer at a movie too. is there a way to find out which trailers show at any given movie? did you know ahead of time that it would for sure before Speed Racer?
I knew that they were releasing it in 'the can' with Speed Racer. It is at the discretion of the cinema whether or not it is played before whatever movie or not. It just so happened that Pacific Cinema took the suggestion. So I can't tell you what movies it will be before.
I read the Stardust book and thought it was only okay. Saying a movie is better than a book is almost blasphemous to me, but in this case, the movie was 100 times better. I did think it was worth reading though.
I just finished it and I think I will watch the movie tonight. So we will see what I think of it then.
Oh I definitely agree. I'm not all the way through it, but it wasn't so much the acting that was bothering me as it was the script. Very dull and strange and poorly paced.

I'm happy there's one in Hollywood, I just hope they have fun stuff going on like some of the other ones.

The script was poorly paced. The entire thing was a bit queer in a boring way. You haven't gotten to it yet but Rob does a great job of acting paralyzed with only one tiny slip up.
