Stardust really is a quick and lovely read. You'll be able to blast through it I think. You'll love it too.

I think the trailer is geared toward fans, and those likely to be fans.. but I think that's the point. This early promotion is about throwing a bone to those who already love it. Give them something to buzz to family and friends about. The October and November marketing push is going to be gear to people who haven't been introduced.

YAY FOR COMICS.
good luck with your test tomorrow.
I hope I love it. Next thing you'll be telling me is that I'll love the movie.

I can see what you are saying about the teaser trailer. I just think that it is too soft and can give people who do see it, who have no experience with the subject matter, a bad taste in their mouth. Look at those slashfilm dicks.

Look at those slashfilm dicks.

I don't think they are a good litmus test of how the movie will be received. Keep in mind, they have reputations to keep, even if they liked the trailer they might not admit it so that they can seem "cool".

I'm glad you enjoyed Rebel Angels (which I keep spelling Angles, geesh) more! I'm excited to read it.

I have to agree with D, you'll love Stardust. It's a fast, lovely read, which I just realized is what he said verbatim. I'm still sleepy! Haha. But yes.

The woman at the bookstore saying that makes me happy too! My hopes, they are high. Which is scary, but nice for right now.

Definitely agree about the poster - that fan made one is awesome!
