Are you afraid?
I am still living out my Monday adventure. With some distance I can say that it was a ton of fun--even if my feet were killing me, the other people sucked and it was a whole lot of sweating. I've spent the days since keeping up with my Google Reader feeds and watching the interviews and reading the write-ups. I have found a couple of publicity pictures that I have loved as you can see. Monday made me actually remember what it was that was special about the fandom and following the actors. I'm so excited to see the movie. I still have a little fear that it will be campy but my general outlook is good. And I saw the predictions for this weekend and they are calling for 70mil as a box office opener. That isn't bad. So I'm thinking KStew is probably right and it isn't a huge jump in saying that they are going to do the next movie. Of course I think Belle is right and that they are going to close the sets and no one will get on other than the Twi-Moms who ... I was going to say something demented. Who knows how they get their hook-ups.
Other than thinking Twilight thoughts, I have been preparing mentally and physically for Alaska. As of today it is windchill of -17F and D tells me the sun is up for four hours a day. I'm excited. It's insane to go there in the winter but it was my idea and D made it happen and now there is nothing to do about it other than live it. I look forward to being in the snow and seeing the aurora borealis. I have hopes of smelling the cold and maybe remembering being home for the holiday.
In the meantime... I have some reading to do. I am on the most current Stephanie Laurens book finally. I have SYTYCD Canada episodes to watch. We have to shop for Charlie, Erin and the boys this weekend. I have at least 3 viewings of Twilight to see (providing I can stay awake through the midnight showing). I have a half ton of yogurt to eat before Tuesday. Ah life is good.
